Negative calorie foods mean that you expend more energy eating and digesting these foods, than you get out of them. So no matter how many of these foods you eat, you are not going to put on weight. I eat a lot of these foods, especially as snacks between meals. There is no need to stop yourself from eating between meals, when you can snack on foods that are 0 calories!
So what are these magical foods?
Blue berries – why not start the morning with a gorgeous, fresh bow?
Cabbage - a good filler to go with your main meal to keep the calories down.

Celery - the perfect negative calorie snack! If you need put a tiny bit of low fat/calorie cream cheese on – my favourite!
Cucumber - high water content means you can snack on on half a cucumber, feel pretty full, and put on zero weight
Garlic - a great reason to add this to every plain meal you eat – really adds taste and a bit of heat
Grapefruit - like cucumber this negative calorie food is very high in water content. tastes great and is eaten throughout Europe as a healthy breakfast
Green beans – why not snack on them or add to your evening meal
Hot Chilli’s – much like garlic, add some chillis to your meal and it will give it some real excitement. some say this is infat the ultimate negative calorie food as your body struggles to cope with hot chillis and burns calories trying. however i would adivce you not to eat too many!
Lemon - great in a glass of water to help with you weight loss, and great squirted over a lot of meals – fish is a classic but goes well on rice too!
Lettuce - the ultimate salad base!
Radish - one of the more filling negative calorie foods
Spinach - a great base for a healthy curry or pasta dish. add flavour not calories!
Tomato - healthy, fully of vitamins, tasty and 0 calories coming your way
Turnip - I have heard this is a negative calorie food, but it is the one I don’t totally trust. Still… worth a go!

If you are in a rush to lose fat there is NO better way than high intensity cardio. An hour or jogging, cycling, or a class at your local gym will start to melt the fat overnight. Don’t shy away, it might be hard work but it is the quickest way to burn fat.

Here are some easy tips to help you lose that fat extra quick! – Lets make that weight loss rapid !
Swap regular soda for the diet variety – even if you don’t like the taste (but why wouldn’t you!?) you will get used to it very quickly. A can of coke has more than 7 tsp of sugar in it. Diet coke has 0 – and 0 calories.
At work take the stairs instead of the lift. The same when shopping – take all the stairs you can see.
Get off the bus a stop early and walk the rest of the journey.
Park in the furthest spot in the car park from where you are going.
Go for a walk at lunch!
Make your meals for the week in advance. When you have got time you will be more motivated to make healthy meals.
Don’t go to the supermarket when you are feeling hungry – you will buy everything!
